Tanzania 2014 by the numbers [2014-11-13]

The 2014 Tanzania projects are complete.  Thanks so much to the generous donors who made it possible!  Your contributions have turned obsolete hardware into opportunity for students and teachers in three schools in Tanzania.

The table below provides a summary of the projects, including approximate donation amount and approximate number of students at each school.  We would like to acknowledge the generous donation of used computer equipment provided by an American company.  The value of this donation is included in the summary table.  We also acknowledge the assistance provided by professionals at Habari Node Ltd and Arusha Node Marie in support of this work.  Teacher orientation training is offered for schools where the Reneal IEO system is installed, and the number receiving this training is also provided in the table.  System administration training was also provided to the IT teachers at each school.

Now we're looking ahead to 2015...
