Reneal IEO Board Meets [2014-01-20]

The Reneal IEO Board of Directors met on Saturday.  A key item on the agenda was consideration of the 2014 Tanzania proposal.  Seven schools were evaluated in August-September 2013 for suitability for low-cost IT lab installations, and three have been selected for implementation in 2014.  Two of them, Mwandet Secondary School and Ilkiding’a Secondary School, are in Arusha.  The third, Paroma Primary School, is in Musoma in western Tanzania.  All three meet or exceed the Reneal IEO selection criteria, and we eagerly anticipate working with the enthusiastic and dedicated school heads and teachers at those schools later this year.

The Board of Directors also reviewed the 2013 end-of-year financial report and approved the 2014 budget.  Thanks to generous donors, Reneal IEO moves into 2014 solidly positioned to fulfill its mission of transforming the lives of students in developing countries through technology and education.
